Chris DiMeglio is a trumpeter and vocalist living in Brooklyn, New York. His first recording as a leader, The Open Field (2008), is a set of eclectic through-composed pieces combining the trumpet and voice in a quartet setting. Simple Songs (release forthcoming), his second album, hones in on fewer creative possibilities and features only piano and voice.
